Crew of the Arcadia,

I'll make this short and sweet. As we transition from the Gladiator to the Arcadia, we have had some moving around go on, but that doesn't stop us from enjoying our writing and story telling. So without further or due, let me be the first to announce congratulations to our new Executive Officer, Lieutenant Commander Liala Ziyal aboard the ship. Take the time to congratulate him and welcome him aboard. JPs are highly recommended and more to come!

Raiden sat in the command chair, gazing out into the expanse of space. He couldn't say he was comfortable in the command chair, however he was needing to get experience. His keen dark eyes glanced around the bridge at the crew present there. Lieutenant Josey Wales as his acting XO seated nearby, Ensign Opal Wickson at the helm, Corporal Briar McKinnon at Tactical, Mel was on the bridge at a station.

"Commander Torme are you able to pick up anything else from the strange energy reading that was found?"

"No power surges or spikes. No divets or drops. I can…

/// ON ///

The door hissed open.

A lone figure stood beyond the threshold, his silhouette outlined by the dim emergency lights beyond. Clad in tattered Marine combat gear, his posture was unmistakably defiant despite the signs of battle etched into his armor. Quickly, Meeka rushed up to him and whined in excitement.

“About damn time,” Lt. Colonel Hayter drawled, his voice dripping with sarcasm. “I was starting to think you forgot about me.”

"Colonel Hayter?" Trent couldn't believe his eyes. The last time he had seen the colonel was when they were on that planet rescuing someone. After that,…

/// ON ///

The Aquila glided silently through the asteroid field, her hull blending seamlessly with the void as the crew executed their approach with precision. The cloaked structure loomed ahead, its faint outline barely discernible against the shifting backdrop of space. It was massive—far larger than they had anticipated. Whatever this place was, it wasn’t just a hidden outpost; it was a fortress.

Hawkins narrowed his eyes as he studied the readings flickering across his console. “That’s no small station,” he muttered, more to himself than to the crew. “It’s a damn starbase.”

Zul’arra’s fingers danced across her controls,…

The Briefing

A call was made for certain crew to attend a meeting, in an area that was not the observation lounge. This room had a table in the center with chairs around it, on the side was a smaller table, set up with coffee urns, a tea pot and pastries of several varieties. Raiden was there making certain that the holo-projector was ready to display the information that Hawkins was needing access to. They had a brief stop at Memphis Island to drop off crew and do some refitting. The shielding system that Edruj had developed had garnered a…

ON:

A few days had passed since Spencer and Opal had gotten engaged, and for the better part of it, things had mostly remained the same for them. Granted there was the additional fact that she was spending more time in his quarters than her shared own ones, he wasn't complaining in the slightest because it meant that it wasn't so lonely by himself.

On one of the rare times they both had off together, Spencer had his arms wrapped around Opal and they were laying on the couch in his quarters watching a show when piped up and said,…

Personal Log Ensign Willow Callingbull
Dear Mom, Dad and Grandpa and family
Even if I can’t send this to you, it makes things easier to write my personal log this way. Just to let you know I arrived safely and am now on a different ship. I had been slated to sign onto the USS Arcadia but now I am on the USS Gladiator. I can’t really tell you about what is happening as I am still in the thick of it. Sufficeth it to say, I wouldn’t wish this on anyone, the experience that the crew…
