| Physical Description | Khelev is first and foremost an Andorian, he keeps himself in good shape and has a very muscular build. He is tall and can be a little imposing, but usually has a smile on his face. He skin is dark blue and his antenna are on the top of his head near the front. He keeps his grey hair short and neatly styled and his ice blue eyes are as expressive as his antenna. |

| Ambitions | Khelev has had a fascination with machines his entire life, computers and technology have always come easy to him and he’s always enjoyed working on them. By nature he is always trying to improve and design better things, most revolving around starship life and systems. Ultimately he’d like to have his own civilian ship, but enjoys working his way up through Starfleet. | |

| Personal History | Khelev was born on Andoria in the Dhara provence in the capital city of Lar’Vela and spent his first ten years growing up on his home world before his parents took up jobs on an Andorian freighter that made a regular run from Andoria to two different Andorian colonies and Rigel before making their way back home to Andoria. There were always side trips and extra stops, it was an exciting way for a young boy to learn about the galaxy and to grow up learning about the many different cultures that lived so very close to his home. Ship life itself agreed with him, it was a routine and he was encouraged to develop several of his skills, his technical and combat abilities being the two he enjoyed working with the most. Khelev had many teachers, a chief engineer that apprenticed him and taught him all the basics of starship repair, warp field theory and computer programing. A group of security officers that taught him everything from hand to hand combat all the way up to ship to ship combat. His sharpest skills remained in engineering and it was where he was the happiest. His family was fairly large for an Andorian one, Khelev is the eldest of four children. He has two sisters and one brother. Family for an Andorian is very important and even more so for Khelev. Even a large merchant vessel only has so many children on board, there were only about thirty on his of all age ranges and it ended up making the few that were in his age rage thick as thieves with skills to match. Khelev loved the merchant life, it fit him well and as much as he wanted to stay, he decided that he wanted to round out his education with something a little more formal. Starfleet gave him an option, they had an accelerated program that accounted for his experience. It would only take two years to get his full degree rather than four and he jumped at the chance. Military life was as good to Khelev as Merchant life was. The routine was something he could fall in line with and always plenty of work to be done. Starfleet became more than just a way for him to earn his education and it was a career path he fell in love with. |
